Calling All Greek Yogurt Fans! Siiike, I Only Text.

Last week I walked into my apartment and saw a large box. Large and in charge. My Blog Spark and Yoplait teamed up and sent me an awesome “Nourish Your Inner Goddess” gift pack. Just what I needed after a killer Julius beating. So what was in the large and in charge box?

A wrap towel, exfoliating wash cloth, exfoliating scrub brush, a nail brush, and a massager! Heck yes. Now I just need to find a man willing to massage my back after my workouts...JULIUS? ARE YOU READING THIS? ;)

Also included in the gift pack were two coupons for Yoplait's Greek Yogurt. This new line features four 6 oz flavors:
  • Honey Vanilla
  • Strawberry
  • Blueberry
  • Plain
With my coupons, I picked up 1 strawberry and 1 plain. The strawberry flavor packs 12 grams of protein in only 130 calories, and the plain packs 14(!!) in a mere 100 calories. Cha Ching! My thoughts: the strawberry flavor is great, with a light strawberry flavor, not too sweet, with a good creamy consistency. The plain seemed thicker and did not have the too-tart flavor that some Greek yogurts have. Overall, both flavors impressed me, but neither were extremely flavorful. If you're looking for a Greek yogurt that is similar to regular yogurt, then Yoplait's line is for you.
When I pulled the yogurts out of the refrigerator I accidentally punched a hole through the top. Is this a sign I'm getting too buff? Darn, guess I'll stop having thumb wars.
Want to win your very own Goddess gift pack and coupons? Leave me a comment telling me your favorite Greek yogurt brand & flavor and I will randomly select a winner on Sunday. I'd also like to take this opportunity for you guys to ask me one question you'd like me to answer on the blog. Ask anything you want! This contest will be open until Sunday, May 9th at 12PM EST. If you're not interested in this giveaway (silly!), you can also download a $0.30 off coupon here.

So I thought it would be funny to pose in the new wrap towel because I'm actually quite obsessed with it. It has Velcro at the top so it stays on your body...how convenient for someone with attention problems. I will no longer be dropping my towel and accidentally baring my goodies! After a major beating at today's training session, I look horrendous and the pics came out the opposite of cute. BUT, since the gauge on my shame tank is on empty these days, I will post anyway!

WHEN on earth did this happen? I never look at my back, bc well, it hurts my neck, but apparently I grew some baby muscles.
 Anatomy of Xtina:
 So ashamed:
And also disgusted with myself:
And did yall think I was nakey under there? SIIIIIKE, I was still wearing my gym clothes.
I wonder if I'll lose or gain readers because of these, haha!

  2. Wow, you are TONED!

My favorite brands of Greek yogurt are Chobani (because it's cheap and good!) or Oikos (if it's on sale).

  3. Girl this totally cracked me up! I have a really cute polka dot wrap like that. Love it! I think my heart belogs to the Chobani pineapple. What can I say? I'm obsessed. Kind of sad I didn't bring one to work today. ;)

  4. I know I say this every time...but you seriously never cease to crack me up, haha.
Looks like a great gift pack!
My favorite is Oikos - but I often buy Brown Cow if I don't have a coupon because even though I spend way too much at the grocery store, at the same time I'm pretty cheap.

  5. I love blueberry chobani! Talk about a sweet gift pack!! I'd love to win :-)

  6. I think my favorite brand for plain Greek yogurt is Fage, but for pre-sweetened I like Chobani - the pineapple and pomegranate flavors are great!

  7. Check out those triceps - GF! You been goin' AT that gym! (Like when the Donkey in the original Shrek said "I'm the StairMASTER, I'll MASTER those stairs! When I'm done those stairs won't know if they goin' up or down!). Ha.

Anywho. I started out with a love affair with Fage (pronounced Fah-Yah - as the container so kindly points out) - but then realized that Chobani is cheaper (heck ya). So I have 1 to 2 Chobani vanilla yogurts per day. The saddest part of my day is when that little yogurt container is empty.

    I cry.
    Then I move on.

  8. Oh holy snap peas you crack me up! I would NOT want to get entangled in an arm wrestling contest with you, by the way, as your arms are starting to resemble Kelly Ripa's and she frightens me to my very core.

So, as I like to spout opinions just for the sake of doing so (no contest is needed)...DETESTED the Yoplait Greek Yogurt (especially the strawberry). However, I adore (ADORE!) the Oikos with honey. It's a wee bit-o-heaven.

  9. hahahahah you're hilarious. I haven't tried this brand yet because I've heard mixed reviews. I jump back and forth between chobani and oikos. I like oikos because its organic...and frankly they have chocolate and caramel flavors- whats not to love? But I think I enjoy the flavor of Chobani more- especially the pineapple mm mm. Question time- what is your top 5 charleston restaurants? (owww thats a toughy) and what is your favorite color (hopefully that one is not as tough)

Question what are your suggestions for a high protien snack for those of us that have nut allergies.

  21. I don't yet have a favorite Greek yogurt - I bought some Oikos but DH ate it before I could. I am eager to try the Yoplait brand.

My question would be ways to increase protein in the diet - my FIL needs to because he is on dialysis.

  22. Holy guns! You're buff! It sounds like those workouts are really doing some good! :)

I love all Greek yogurt, but I think my favorite is Oikos--any flavor. But the chocolate is quite tasty and makes a yummy dessert!

  25. Giiiiirrrrlll! You be buff! :)

My favorite greek yogurt is either fage plain when I want to add my own goodies or chobani pineapple when I'm lazy and want the add-ins already added in.

  27. Christina, you are hilarious!!!! Guess I'll stop the thumb wars-- too funny. Love your posts, especially this one! I hate to say it but I just can't handle greek yogurt-- I do love me some Dannon Lights though. My Dad taught me this but when they are cold enough they almost taste like icecream... Almost :)))) XOXOXOXO

  28. haha I laughed out loud to your title! you crazy ;).

I wasn't a big fan of the Yoplait Greek, although I do love me some Dannon Greek. and chobani of course. Chobs takes the greek cake.

  29. You are toned girl! Love your posts and thanks for the comment!
Love plain Greek yogurt - Fage is my #1, Chobani is a close 2nd.

  30. I am a greek yogurt fanatic!! I even have my two little boys hooked on it. My older son prefers plain so he can drizzle his own honey in. The younger one love anything with berries. My favorite is to take the plain, add frozen berries, add some stevia, a splash of vanilla, stir and allow to sit for five minutes. The frozen berries freeze up the yogurt making you feel like you are having an ice cream treat.

  31. hahaha. I love your humor. I tried the yoplait when it first came out and hated it- but I think dannon and yoplait revised their original formulas cuz I tried it again and it was very different from the one I tried a few months ago!

Love your robe etc.! Nice tat and muscles too, time for me to go get a tan.

my question for you how can I get arms like yours?

  36. Damn girl! I'm calling Tyra, because you are America's Next Top Model. You're even "smizing". She'd love you.

I've been wanting to try these yogurts, but can't find them anywhere. I love vanilla Chobani and need to win this giveaway because I lost my bathrobe. Don't ask me how because it's a long story that involves racoons.

  37. I love the Yoplait greek yogurt! Fage will always be my favorite, but I think Yoplait is a close second (which is nice, because it's soo much cheaper).
