Clemson Football and a Boot Camp Beating

Saturday was a wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am visit to Clemson for the homecoming game against Miami. Margaret, Andrea, and Marie and I left Charleston at 6 am in the morning and headed upstate. For over 4 hours, Andrea drove with Margaret up front, while Marie worked on solving a Rubix cube (yes, really) and I did crosswords on my ipod. Dorks.
It was my first Clemson game and I loved it. So much orange everywhere!
I think the balloons were one of my favorite parts.

During halftime, I hung out with TJ and Matt, aka my prom dates.
After the game, I ran into CORY!! Cory hasn't been on the blog since last Summer and he was not happy about that. I told him to snap a picture with me and that would change stat.
After an excessive amount of tailgating and barhopping, I was more than ready to start the Pura Vida Fitness boot camp I had signed up for. A couple weeks ago, there was a $25 Groupon special for 8 boot camp sessions at the Mt. Pleasant Waterfront Park. $25 to undo all the damage I've been doing this football season? YES PLEASE! Right after work, Amanda, Mary, and I all met at the park to get our butts in shape.
We did lots of cardio and plyometrics. Amanda was really good at the sea turtles exercise. Check out her form!
I was a fan of thrusting my glutes, duh.
Mary was not a fan of all the sprinting we had to do, but look at that champion go!
Our muscles got bigger after only one session!
We'll have class on both Mondays and Wednesdays for the next 4 weeks. If you're in the Charleston area and would like to sign up, check out Lisa's site or give her a call. It's a lot of fun!

SUPER cute boots- they look adorable with your orange dress :)
I used to go to a boot camp class- it was so much fun- and an awesome workout. The girl that I took it with actually does not teach it anymore, but it was fun while it lasted.

  6. I love how you're suddently into college football after your first game a few weeks ago :P It's weird, but even when I have student tickets..I still only go to one game and that's the one my family decides to come down to. Every other week I end up selling them- you can make good money that way! haha :P I'd be at every one of them if it weren't for the possibility of extra cash, though.

  22. I like you more and more now that you're enjoying football! I used to not like it at all and only went to socialize, but now I'm ALL ABOUT my team winning and will let everyone around me know it! HA! Your gal-roadtrip looks like it was SO fun! I've only been to one game- Penn State- this season but miss going to games so much!

Love the bootcamp! I went to a Cathy Savage workshop this past Sunday and thought I was seriously going to die right there on the wooden aerobics floor. I felt like such a pansy having to take "time outs" but I'm not used to such intense workouts. I definitely need to condition myself so that I'll be ready in two weeks for the next one!

My brother was up there, he is a Miami fan. Him and his friends drove all the way from Miami to Clemson on Friday and back on Sunday. Serious dedication.
