2010 Charleston Wine + Food Festival

I'm officially in love with the Wine + Food Festival. It was worth every penny to spend 3 glorious hours shoveling as much food in my mouth that I possibly could in attendance with two of my favorite hotties.
I cannot even begin to describe how much food we actually ate. Everything is in mini portions, but there is SO much to try, and of coooooourrseee I tried some things multiple times: pimiento cheese, risotto, sesame noodles. And there's no limit on alcohol, so we surely took advantage. We drank wine,
bourbon,

and tequila!!

And we ate, ate, and ate some more...
S'mores bar:
Roasted duck:
Crepes:
Shrimp & Grits:

Xtuna:
Crab dip on toasted points:
Beet & Goat Cheese Salad:
And COOKIES!
And, as promised, Nikki and I fed each other:
The festival was a ton of fun and we're so excited to go back next year.

Saturday, the day before the festival, Nikki and I attended the 2010 Unmasking Colon Cancer Ball. I got to wear my new dress! It was perfect too, because blue is the symbolic color for colon cancer.
Tomorrow evening I'm going to an italian restaurant on John's Island....Wild Olive. I've wanted to go ever since I returned from Italy -- their menu is very authentic Italian, and much of the items on it are things I tried while on vacation. Everything looks so good! Stay tuned....! :)
