New Food, Free Food, Fun Food...and Clothes!

Last week I won a giveaway on Emily's blog, Your Food Smiles. The prize was a mystery until today when I received it in the mail. She sent me an adorable homemade card in my favorite colors...
...with a bunch of fun coupons!
Emily's timing was perfect -- I needed to go grocery shopping today! I used 3 of her coupons and picked up a few other new items. Here are the highlights.
  • Three Wishes Cabernet Sauvignon -- $2.99 at WF. Is this some sort of sick game they are playing with my head? Apparently Whole Foods is trying to compete with TJ's Two-Buck Chuck. See the article here.
  • Snack Salad Snapea Crisps - insanely addicting!
  • Amy's Lentil soup - this reminded me so much of something I had in Italy, so I had to snag it.
  • Barbara's Bakery Puffins, cinnamon flavor - after seeing these all over the blogosphere, I had to give these a try
  • Celestial Seasonings tea in two flavors: Gingerbread Spice and Candy Cane Lane. I always fall for seasonal crap!
  • So Delicious Coconut milk, unsweetened
  • Voskos Greek yogurt - it was time to try a new brand!
  • An Opal apple - so here's a story. I have an obsession with Jazz apples and have been waiting forevvvvvvv for the Washington crop to arrive at Whole Foods. Every week, I ask my buddy Antonio if they've come in. It's the middle of November and they're still not in. :( Tonight he let me try the Opal crop that is a brand new blend of Golden Delicious + Topaz. DELICIOUS. Go find one!
I also picked up the 2011 Chick-fil-A Calendar.

For each month there is a coupon for a free item:
  • January: Spicy Chicken Biscuit or Small Bowl of Chicken Soup
  • February: Yogurt Parfait and Dasani Bottled Water
  • March: Large Diet Coke
  • April: Chick-Fila Nuggets (8 ct)
  • May: Chargrilled Chicken Garden Salad (my fave!)
  • June: Small Hand-Spun Milkshake
  • July: Medium Freshly Squeezed Lemonade (my other fave!)
  • August: Large Sprite
  • September: Spicy Chicken Sandwich
  • October: Large Coca-Cola
  • November: Chick-n-Minis (3 ct) OR Large Waffle Fry
  • December: Large Coca-Cola Zero
For only $6, this calendar is soooooo worth your dollars. You can use them at any location and you don't even have to wait for that month to use the coupon. Trust me, I bought several last year and they were gone by errr...February. True story.

Lastly, I purchased some fab finds at Ann Taylor Loft on Sunday: black cropped riding pants, a tulle neckline dress, black suede flats, and a drape neck tee.
Have you bought any new food or clothing lately?
