My friend Joe is a DJ at 95SX and told me all I had to do was come into the station and we could record some tracks! I'm telling you guys...facebook has all the answers. Or Joe does. Either way. Right after work I drove over to the station to play. There were so many buttons and controls!! I did put on some headphones, though! Don't I look sassy?
While I Joe edited clips and played the hottest tracks, we had a little snack time. Clearly we both like pretzels. The 100 calorie pack was actually his and I stole a bunch. Why is the sweet & salty combo SO good?
We also shared some dried (candied?) pineapple. This stuff is addicting.
Joe recorded two motivational speeches for me to listen to while I run. They are hilarious and I wish I could post them on the blog. I know they will pump me up just as much as Lil Wayne - so thank you, Joe!
Then we made the traffic guy take a pic of us. Don't know what's up with my left eye slant -- could I be part of TLC? Haha. Long day at work people, stop judging.Once Joe wrapped up at the station, we went to the movies to see Due Date. I had been wanting to see this movie for a while. Zach Galifianakis makes me laugh hysterically and I have always admired Robert Downey Jr. (minus his bouts of drug addiction).
Although the events in the movie were pretty predictable, there were funny parts. You can't help but laugh at Galiafianakis' facial expressions and mannerisms no matter what role he's in. As you may have seen in the previews, there is one part in particular that really made me chuckle. In a very serious tone, Ethan (played by Galifiniakis) tells Peter (Downey Jr.), "You better check yourself before you wreck yourself." Who says that?! I might steal it, use it, and abuse it. Here's a youtube video in case you haven't seen it.
Hilarious. Have you seen Due Date or any other new releases? I still need to hurry up and see The Social Network! What is YOUR favorite movie of all time? Please share!
